1st Corinthians 6:9/11 -
[9]Don’t you realize that those who do wrong will not inherit the Kingdom of God? Don’t fool yourselves. Those who indulge in sexual sin, or who worship idols, or commit adultery, or are male prostitutes, or practice homosexuality,
[10]or are thieves, or greedy people, or drunkards, or are abusive, or cheat people—none of these will inherit the Kingdom of God.
[11]Some of you were once like that. But you were cleansed; you were made holy; you were made right with God by calling on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.

I just have to get this off my chest! Do not fall for this world’s lies. When you return home from school and your aunts/old teachers/church members ask you how come you aren’t married yet, tell them the truth! It breaks my heart to see radical followers of Christ looked down on, because they don’t have a ring on their finger yet and they’re what….22 years old?! Just because American society says you have to be married, sexed up, with 4 kids, a steady job, a nice house, a couple cars, a dog and a vacation home doesn’t mean you have to have those things! It definitely doesn’t mean God will bless you with those things! And I mean that with the most sincerity.
Everything that God deems beautiful in His eyes has been wrecked by Satan and society’s influence. Don’t let them break your heart.
HERE’S A FEW EXAMPLES:
God blessed us with the Sabbath to rest on Saturday, the last day of the week (Exodus 20:8, Mark 16:1) — Prime party time is Friday sundown to Saturday sundown.
God blessed us with sex, yes sex. For married people. Sex is not a sin, it’s a beautiful thing — Satan has society believing that casual sex is ok. Lust is definitely ok, take Cosmo Magazine & Victoria’s Secret posters in the mall.
God says do not make idols (Exodus 20:3-6) — Every religion in the world where people pray, kiss or worship a statue or lower-g god (and yes that includes Catholicism).
God deems singleness as a gift, not a curse (1 Cor. 7) — if you never get married the world says there’s something seriously wrong with you. You family may say the same, Christian or not.
Love (the biggest one of all): God’s love for us is right there waiting. Love is also the very reason why we do almost anything & everything we do. (Take 99% songs on the radio; they’re about love) His love is incomparable and what do we do in return? Chase down anything & everything that will show us love when true love is waiting with open arms. We look to people, pets, & objects for the kind of love and acceptance only our Creator can give us. (Think about Twitter followers, relationships, popularity, and tons more)
Married or single, whichever is in your story is the one God believes is best for you. Don’t let this world fool you. It’s not in your best interest. But God is.
Jesus is not a vending machine. You don’t just draw close to him for power in your ministry. You don’t draw close to him so you can pop out some miracles, healings, words of wisdom and knowldge, prophecies, etc. You don’t pay him with your words and time to have him dispense…
Truth in love time: false. very false. and misguided. very misguided.
it’s so much more than that:
MAYBE: you don’t have a boyfriend or girlfriend because God is most glorified in your current single state. you don’t have a girlfriend or boyfriend because there’s something God wants to teach…
